When I started Nobis, I wanted to create a firm that dedicated itself to fully serving its clients and community. Achieving those goals has been a true testament to all of the professionals I have had the incredible good fortune to work with.

After gaining professional experience at a large engineering firm, Nannu founded Nobis Engineering in 1988 to address the demand for high-value integrated engineering services with a personal commitment to each client. With a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering and his passion for delivering “no questions asked” exceptional client service, Nannu and his Leadership Team have grown Nobis into a leading northeast engineering firm. In 2012, Nannu was recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the New Hampshire Small Business Person of the Year. Nannu also received the annual New Hampshire Engineer of the Year award by the Society of Professional Engineers in 2018.

Life Outside of Nobis

Nannu is an avid photographer, but most recently has been trying his hand at watercolor painting, though the results are… umm… mixed! Inspired by Food Network reruns, Nannu has taught himself to become a half-way decent cook. He enjoys hiking and just returned from hiking a portion of the “el Camino de Santiago” (the Way of St James) in Spain; he hopes someday to hike the Appalachian Trail. Nannu is passionate about giving back to his community having served on multiple non-profit boards and currently serves on the boards of ACEC New Hampshire, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, Granite United Way, and the Kimball Jenkins School of Art.
