I’m passionate about mentoring and creating meaningful opportunities for growth. To me, leadership should exist at every level of an organization, not just in titles, but in how individuals take ownership and contribute to outcomes. That mindset closely reflects our employee ownership culture, where everyone has a stake in what we build and how we succeed.

As Director of Civil Engineering, Andrew combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to team development and employee ownership. Since joining the firm in 2019 after earning his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, Andrew has contributed to a range of complex environmental and civil projects, including major mine remediation efforts such as the Elizabeth Mine and Pike Hill Mine. In his role as Director, he is focused on continuing to grow the civil engineering team, strengthening its culture, and positioning it to take on increasingly complex and impactful work.

His background includes hands-on experience in fieldwork, construction oversight, and project coordination, where he developed a passion for real-time problem solving and collaborative project delivery. Early opportunities to take on meaningful responsibility helped shape his leadership style and reinforced his belief in empowering others to grow and succeed.

In addition to his project work, Andrew played a key role in revitalizing Nobis’ employee ownership engagement efforts through the Ownership Culture Crew. He is a strong advocate for leadership at all levels and values the company’s collaborative, people-focused culture.

Life Outside of Nobis

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys staying hands-on and building things, whether that’s woodworking in his garage, turning pieces on his lathe, tackling yard projects, or building decks with his college roommate. He also enjoys cooking and has spent the past few years working toward perfecting his pizza-making skills, applying an engineering mindset of trial and error, just with much tastier results.

In his free time, Andrew also competes in long-range rifle shooting and enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, though it often turns into more casting than catching. He also values quieter time at home with his wife Brianna and their two rescue dogs, Stella and Luna, and on weekends they enjoy exploring local cafés and farmers markets together.
