Staff Engineer – (Entry Level 0-2 Years) The successful candidate will work in a team environment and be responsible for preparing site designs utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D under the direction of senior staff. Candidate will effectively collaborate with team members and others to efficiently execute assignments by support design engineers with plan development and document production using engineering software and computer hardware necessary to complete engineering analysis and design projects. Working knowledge of MS Office is required. Candidate will be challenged to work within time constraints to meet multiple deadlines, and they must be able to work independently or in a group to achieve project goals and deliverables. Candidate must have a willingness to grow professionally in their role within the Civil Engineering Team.

This position may require field work which would include field investigation or construction observation at projects sites to assess feasibility, monitor progress, and/or ensure conformance. Other related duties and responsibilities may also be assigned. Must have valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Candidate must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and a working knowledge of MS Office. You must also be able to work with time constraints, changing deadlines, and multiple projects. Must have a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software applications.

This position requires B.S. in Civil Engineering (or graduating in the Spring of 2019 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering)

Internship Environmental Engineer/Scientist – This internship will support environmental projects including petroleum/hazardous materials-contaminated site investigation, groundwater quality assessment, and remedial action projects. Primary responsibility is to provide project support to mid-level and senior-level scientist, geologists and environmental engineers with soil and groundwater sample collection, subsurface drilling oversight, data evaluation, and technical deliverable development. Other related duties and responsibilities may also be assigned.

This position will include both office-based and field-oriented work to support data collection teams. The selected candidate may be asked to travel to distant project sites within New England, requiring overnight stays.

Special knowledge, skills, ability, and certification requirements: Must have valid Driver’s license and own transportation. Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel software applications. Must have (or be willing to obtain on own time) OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification or 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher, as applicable.

Minimum education and experience required: Undergraduate coursework towards an environmental engineering and /or related environmental science/geology degree.

Nobis Group has a current job opportunity for a Project Coordinator (PC) in our Concord office to provide a variety of administrative and marketing related support to multiple technical project teams, departments, and project managers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as a member of our outstanding Business Resource Center to support an outstanding team of engineers, scientists, and others in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.

This individual will assist Department Heads and/or team leaders to schedule and/or facilitate internal meetings; and prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action items. Participate in relevant meetings/teleconferences/webinars with internal staff assigned to relevant projects (client meetings as requested). Assist technical staff by registering individuals to attend various industry, business development, and networking events, and prepare needed marketing related content and materials for events. Ensure all data and documents are created and maintained consistent and accurate; maintain current subs/vendors Certificates of Insurance (COI’s). Provide planning and scheduling support to several department heads to track and schedule multiple deliverables while ensuring your availability to provide timely support. Assist in the development of various client submittals, letters, documents, engineering drawings and plan sheets, and technical reports in hardcopy and/or digital formats. Review technical reports to include proofreading work prepared by others, editing and formatting of work products prepared or drafted by others, checking grammar, punctuation, term usage and general readability, scanning of reports and binding of various documents related to marketing and business development. Provide project coordination for technical staff including assembling review or submittal packages. Provide support to develop, reproduce, and maintain contract deliverables. Work with technical staff or marketing team to organize, prepare and maintain updated qualification statements, resumes, project descriptions, proposals, spreadsheets, and other marketing related documents. Other duties as required.

Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field with a minimum of five years’ experience working in a professional services firm or relevant office setting. Exceptional writing and editing skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines, highly organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Proficient with MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, and Adobe. Experience with desktop publishing (Adobe InDesign). Experience with Deltek Vision software is a plus. Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be dependable with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and the ability to work with minimal guidance.
