Boundary and topographic survey for future residential site development overlooking Newfound Lake

In May of 2025, Richard D. Bartlett & Associates (RDB), a division of Nobis Group, performed a boundary and topographic survey atop a ridge overlooking Newfound Lake in Hebron, NH for future residential site development. The crew had to contend with difficult terrain including steep and rocky slopes and ledge outcrops. In July of 2025, the firm performed construction calculations for a foundation layout of roughly a 4,000-SF multi-story residential home. In the field, the crew needed to provide precise foundation corners and control points for contractors to begin construction. However, they were faced with several corners being located in existing ledge outcrops destined to be removed. In this instance, the crew had to be creative and provide several corner offsets outside of the proposed disturbed areas.
